Asking a Friend to Come Over for Dinner

Dan, I will be waiting for you to come this afternoon. I am looking forward to it because you know I depend on you to teach me how to connect imac to hdtv. Also, you might be interested to know that Annie is in town. I told her you are coming over and I also invited her to join us. She said that she will try to come but I do not know. I know what you are thinking now - that I am probably setting you up. But you have to trust me that this is not a set up at all. As a matter of fact, I was also surprised to know that she is here now. Anyway, I am expecting you to be here by dinner time because you surely would not want to miss what I will be preparing. Don't ask me what's cooking because you will have to come and see for yourself. But one thing is for sure, you'll miss half of your life if you don't come tonight.
